Overview
If you have forgotten your Arkante account password and are unable to sign in, you can reset it through our secure password recovery process. This procedure verifies your identity before granting access to set a new password, ensuring that your account remains protected at all times.
The entire process typically takes less than five minutes to complete.
Initiating the Password Reset
To begin the password reset process, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Arkante authentication page at auth.arkante.com.
- Click the Forgot Password? link.
- Enter the email address associated with your Arkante account.
- Click Send Reset Link.
If the email address you entered is associated with an active account, you will receive an email containing a secure password reset link. This link expires after 60 minutes for security purposes. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder, and verify that you entered the correct email address.
Setting a New Password
Once you have received the reset email:
- Open the email and click the Reset Password button or copy the provided link into your browser.
- You will be directed to a secure page where you can create a new password.
- Enter your new password in the designated field. Ensure it meets the following requirements:
- Minimum of 12 characters
- At least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character
- Must not match any of your last five passwords
- Confirm your new password by entering it a second time.
- Click Save New Password to complete the process.
After your password has been successfully reset, you will be redirected to the sign-in page where you can log in with your new credentials.
Identity Verification for Enhanced Security
If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, you will be required to complete an additional verification step after clicking the reset link. Depending on your configuration, this may involve:
- Entering a one-time code generated by your authenticator application
- Using a hardware security key registered to your account
If you no longer have access to your two-factor authentication device, please refer to the Account Recovery section below.
Account Recovery
In the event that you cannot complete the standard password reset process due to one of the following circumstances, additional recovery steps are required:
- No access to the registered email address: Contact our support team with proof of account ownership (such as your full name, date of account creation, and the last four digits of a payment method on file). Our team will verify your identity and assist with updating your email address.
- Lost two-factor authentication device: If you saved your backup recovery codes during the initial two-factor authentication setup, you may use one of those codes to complete verification. If recovery codes are unavailable, contact support for a manual identity verification process, which may take up to 48 hours.
- Account locked due to suspicious activity: If your account has been locked as a precautionary measure, you will need to contact support directly. Our security team will review your case and guide you through the unlocking process.
For all recovery requests, please reach out via the Contact Us page or email us at support@arkante.com.
Frequently Asked Questions
