Overview
The Arkante Academy curriculum is organized into a structured hierarchy designed to facilitate progressive learning. Understanding how the curriculum is arranged will help you select the most relevant courses, plan your study schedule, and track your advancement through the material.
This guide explains the curriculum structure, the different types of content available, and how to navigate the Academy effectively.
Curriculum Structure
The Academy curriculum is organized into three levels:
- Learning Paths: Comprehensive programs that cover a broad subject area from beginning to end. Each learning path consists of multiple courses arranged in a recommended sequence. Completing a full learning path earns a certificate of completion.
- Courses: Individual educational units focused on a specific topic. Each course contains multiple modules and typically requires between 5 and 20 hours to complete, depending on its depth.
- Modules: The smallest unit of content within a course. Each module covers a discrete concept or skill and includes instructional content, examples, and assessment exercises. Modules typically take between 30 and 90 minutes to complete.
This hierarchical structure allows you to commit to a full learning path for comprehensive education, or select individual courses and modules that address specific areas of interest.
Course Formats
Arkante Academy courses incorporate a variety of content formats to accommodate different learning preferences:
- Video lessons: Recorded presentations delivered by our instructors, covering key concepts with visual aids, charts, and demonstrations. Videos can be paused, rewound, and replayed at any time.
- Written materials: Detailed articles and reference documents that accompany each video lesson. These materials are available for download in PDF format for offline study.
- Interactive exercises: Hands-on activities that require you to apply concepts learned in the lesson. Exercises may include chart analysis tasks, calculation problems, or scenario-based decision-making challenges.
- Quizzes and assessments: Short evaluations at the end of each module to measure comprehension. A passing score of 70% or higher is required to advance to the next module within a learning path.
- Live sessions: Periodic webinars and workshops conducted in real-time by instructors. These sessions allow for direct interaction, questions, and group discussion. Recordings are made available for participants who are unable to attend live.
Finding the Right Course
The Academy catalog provides several tools to help you identify courses suited to your needs:
- Difficulty level: Each course is labeled as Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. Begin with courses at your current level and progress upward.
- Estimated duration: The total time commitment required to complete the course is displayed on its listing page.
- Prerequisites: Some courses require completion of prior courses or modules. Prerequisites are clearly listed on each course page.
- Ratings and reviews: Feedback from other learners can help you gauge the quality and relevance of a course before enrolling.
- Tags and categories: Courses are tagged by topic (e.g., “Technical Analysis,” “Risk Management,” “Equities”) for easy filtering.
Use the search bar on the Academy page to find courses by keyword, or browse the catalog by learning path, difficulty level, or topic category.
Tracking Your Progress
The Academy provides robust progress-tracking tools to help you stay on course:
- Progress bar: Each course and learning path displays a visual progress bar indicating the percentage of content you have completed.
- Module checklist: Within each course, a checklist shows which modules have been completed, are in progress, or have not yet been started.
- Assessment scores: Your quiz and exercise scores are recorded and available for review at any time from the course details page.
- Time tracking: The Academy logs the total time you have spent on each course, helping you monitor your study habits against your learning goals.
All progress data is accessible from your Academy Dashboard under the My Courses section.
Tips for Effective Learning
To maximize the value of your Academy experience, we recommend the following approaches:
- Follow the recommended sequence: Learning paths are designed with a deliberate progression. Skipping ahead may result in gaps in foundational understanding.
- Complete all exercises: Practical application is critical for retention. Do not skip interactive exercises, even if the underlying concept feels familiar.
- Review written materials: Video lessons provide an overview, but the accompanying written materials often contain additional detail, examples, and reference information.
- Engage with the community: Use the Academy forum to discuss concepts, ask questions, and share insights with fellow learners.
- Set a consistent schedule: Allocating regular, dedicated study time produces better outcomes than sporadic, intensive sessions.
